I’m Martina Davies, and I’m so glad you’re here at Travel-Madly!
I know what it’s like to dream of travel but not know where to start. I grew up in a small Texas suburb, surrounded by a big, loving family. For us, travel meant weekend road trips and family reunions, not international adventures. That changed when I met my husband Phillip, a proud Welshman with a love for the open world.
My first solo flight to the UK was nothing glamorous. Picture this. A middle seat, back row, zero legroom. Still, that one trip opened my eyes to the magic of travel and sparked a curiosity I couldn’t ignore. I’ve been exploring ever since, learning through experience what makes a journey exciting, comfortable, and unforgettable.
Cruising wasn’t love at first sight for us either. Like many, we had doubts. But after one trip, we were hooked. Cruises gave us the chance to discover multiple destinations without the stress of unpacking, repacking, or guessing if the hotel would meet expectations. It was seamless, exciting, and easy. And that’s exactly the kind of experience I now create for my clients.
